Miglas provide the highest quality Australian-made and designed double glazed windows and doors. Miglas combines the advantages of both timber and aluminium windows to create a low maintenance, energy-efficient, and thermally stable window and door system. This unique double glazed window and door system provides comfort and protection in the harsh Australian climate all year round while allowing you full architectural freedom with a wide range of styles, sizes and colours.
MIGLAS HISTORY
A passion to embrace energy efficiency led Miglas to establish a separate enterprise in 1986 within their already successful company to develop and solely focus on sustainable double glazed windows and doors.
That was over 25 years ago and established Miglas as industry leaders. It presented an opportunity to introduce new innovative technology. Miglas; the first to capture the advantage of the AliClad composite timber-aluminium framing, the first to integrate and use high-performance hardware designed for double glazed windows and doors, and the first to dedicate their business to windows and doors made to manage our environmental challenges.
Today Miglas products continue to evolve and maintain market leadership. The "Miglas Difference" is ever-present as is their ability to rise to any architectural challenge demanded by project requirements.

The company was founded in 1968 by Wally Miglas and has continued to be owned and operated by the Miglas family for three generations.
In 1985 Miglas established a separate enterprise in Montrose to develop energy-efficient high-performance windows. Due to the success of this Miglas is now completely based at the Montrose location and is solely dedicated to producing double glazed products.

In 1994 Miglas were the first to capture the advantages of combining timber and aluminium framing, Introducing the AliClad range of Windows and Doors to the Australian market.

In 2006 Miglas completed factory extensions and brand new showroom facilities.
